Talk Like A Prison is a gate crasher and dirge, a cannonade of anger carried by militant drums and vocal conviction. Simple and certain guitar lines push out distant storm cloud swells, carrying calm baritone promises to enemies near and far. Supported by Olivier Fairfield’s lithe and mechanistic drumming, the chorus breaks out into a full-blown cloudburst, delivering chant and trouble in an unrelenting downpour. The layered howls describe the inhuman world of the imprisoned, and the inevitable end of those who profit from it.
