Chuchoux est un album écrit, composé et enregistré dans son entièreté par La Scie (Samuel Gougoux). C’est un travail pointilleux, qui était au départ un défi lancé à soi-même dans l’idée de créer une musique douce, mais complexe qui s’éloignerait du travail percussif qui a défini le travail de Gougoux par le passé. Enregistré dans son appartement à tâtons, l’album s’est graduellement transformé en un projet de cœur qui a fait naître une nouvelle identité musicale.

Chuchoux is an album written, composed, and recorded in full by La Scie (Samuel Gougoux). It is a meticulous body of work that began as a self-imposed challenge: to create music that is gentle yet intricate, moving away from the percussive approach that has defined Gougoux’s work in the past. Recorded at home, taking his time to explore the process, the piece of music gradually evolved into something else, a deeply personal project that gave rise to a new musical identity.
